STAR TREK Soldiers of Pawns ''Shadows of Pawns''

Another year and a half has passed. Captain James Tiberius Kirk and the intrepid crew of the Federation starship Enterprise are nearing an end to their first five-year mission, of which Kirk commanded the last two before previous Captain Pike was disabled and he took over.
Kirk’s old friend and former first officer while on Farragut, Gary Mitchell, has been reprimanded by the skipper that replaced Kirk when he left for Enterprise. Kirk calls in a favor and Gary is now back with him on Enterprise at navigation.
Meanwhile, the “Continuity” renews efforts to destabilize the balance of power...this time by slipping an agent into the highly secret “Genesis Project.”
